Getting in Touch
You can contact me by the box above, by email or by phone (helenfrost77@hotmail.com / 07947868975). This first contact between us will give you an opportunity to ask any questions about how I work, and for us to work out if I have a space and time that could work for you. You may like to give me a brief idea of the area of difficulty you are experiencing, however, we will not discuss your situation and background in any detail or depth by phone or email. If we find a time that works, we can arrange an initial session so that we can meet, we can begin to explore what is going on for you and what you hope for from therapy, we can see what it’s like to work together and you can get a feel for therapy with me. You may then decide straight away whether or not you wish to continue or you may want to take a few days to think it over.
Time & Location
I offer individual, weekly, 50 minute sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the working day.
Once we find a time that fits, we will stick to this time and place each week.
I offer sessions from my own therapy room in Combe Down, Bath, Somerset.
My in-person work is accessible to people living and working in Bath, as well as being within easy reach of surrounding towns such as Frome, Radstock, Trowbridge as well as villages such as Midford, Freshford, Winsley, Bradford-on-Avon, Paulton.
I work with some clients online too, who may not be able to attend in-person therapy in Bath.
Fee
My fee is currently £60 per session. I request that the initial session is paid for in advance by bank transfer. Once in regular therapy, I invoice at the end of each month.
Attendance, Holidays, Cancellations
When we agree to work together, I will keep this space for you, and I ask you to endeavour to keep this appointment each week with me. This is because therapy is most effective when sessions are regular. If you are not able to attend it is helpful to let me know in advance as wherever possible, I will try to offer an alternative time for you, however, if you are not able to attend there will be the fee to pay.
I usually take holidays for a month over the summer, two weeks at Christmas and at Easter and may take other days here and there when necessary. I will endeavour to let you know with plenty of notice of any holidays or absences and there will be no charge for my absences.
Confidentiality
I am a member of UKCP and adhere to their code of ethics and confidentiality. Essentially, our work remains confidential though I may be obliged to break this confidentiality in particular circumstances, for example, if you or someone else is at risk from harm. I would endeavour to inform you in advance if I were to break confidentiality for any reason.
I will discuss our work together for supervision purposes, with my supervisor and colleagues. Your identity will always be protected.
I adhere to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that came into effect in May 2018.
